‘MOSCHUS’ is an Indian brand that captures the essence of deer musk through perfume. The graphic element of the packaging takes inspiration from the painting “Red Deer’ by the artist Franz Marc, who was famous during the Expressionism era.
The Expressionism was an art movement marked by the expression of subjective reality through art rather than objective reality. This is a self initiated project to understand the art movement in a better way. Since the brand deals in premium deer musk perfumes, the name is inspired from the genus of the musk deer family ‘Moschidae’.
Male musk deer produce the most expensive scent in the world—famously known as Kasturi in Indian Ayuverda. Natural musk comes from the gland of any of seven species of musk deer, a small ruminant with a historical range that stretches throughout China to the Himalayas and far north into Russia.
The perfume is available in three different fragrances - urban musk, black musk and amber musk.
